Experience a different kind of wine tasting during the Livermore Valley Barrel Tasting Weekend, a celebration of exceptional winemaking and friendly hospitality. This immersive event invites you to explore the flavors of the Livermore Valley while savoring exclusive barrel samples and bottled wine tastings from some of the region's finest wineries.
On March 28th and 29th, participating wineries will open their doors, each offering barrel samples and bottled wine samples, giving you a glimpse into the past, present, and future of their handcrafted creations. The event spans a variety of locations, with each winery showcasing its unique style, character, and dedication to the craft of winemaking.
We will be sampling the following wines straight from the barrel:
2023 "Especial" Cabernet Sauvignon
2024 "Big Wood" Zinfandel
2024 "Muy Buneo" Zinfandel
Guests will enjoy these wines directly from the barrel, along with three other wines as a part of a six-pour flight.
Wood Family Vineyards Club Members can taste for free at our location. Non-Club Members can taste for $30. Each bottle purchase is credited $10 up to the price of entry.
