Come join us for our weekly run (or walk)! The run/walk will start at 6:30PM, but come hang with us around 6PM to socialize/warm-up/change.

There are a variety of distances starting at 2.2 miles, 3.5 miles, and 5 to 9 miles. The most popular is the 3.5 mile course (that does have two water fountains along its route). Most people run the 3.5 mile course, and we have a large variety of pacing for runners. Most people break up into groups for their pace and the Sunrise staff is always happy to introduce you to other participants to help you find your perfect paced group.

Walking instead of running? We have a dedicated group of walkers for the 2.2 mile route who come every Wednesday. They are fun and entertaining people and love having new people join.

Want to bring your dog? Absolutely, dogs are more than welcome to come to our event. We love having well-behaved dogs in the shop (we also have some treats at the counter). We also have lots of great gear for both you and your dog like: running leashes, harnesses, booties, collapsible water bowls, and MORE.

Can kids come? Yes! We do advise they run or walk with a buddy and be supervised at night. More youngsters tend to come in the summer months, but the owner's son always comes to participate with us.

Maps? Maps will be provided inside Sunrise Mountain Sports for FREE. We also have FREE demo headlamps to borrow from Black Diamond; just check in with the staff at the front counter.

Don't FORGET (since sunset is still before 6:30PM):
-to wear high-visibility clothing
-to bring a headlamp or flash light
