Proclaimed by Rolling Stone as a “best new act,” Midnight North is a group of folk and americana multi-instrumentalists. Founding member Grahame Lesh, son of Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, began to catch the attention of the Bay Area music scene with his appearances at his family’s Terrapin Crossroads, and along with Elliott and Connor as “Grahame Lesh & Friends” in 2012. Upon their release of their first album later that year, they’d begun to make a name for themselves as songwriters as well. Since then, and with the addition of drummer Nathan Graham, they’ve toured and written music continuously. Rolling Stone writes, “[Midnight North] takes the best parts of roots music and weaves them into a tapestry of rock and Americana.”
