Get ready to make magic happen at one of Livermore’s most beloved family traditions, created just for kids 5th grade and under—the 2025 Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day! This free, family-friendly event draws hundreds of local families for a morning full of festive fun, including a costume contest, live music, games, and trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses. The excitement continues at Stockmen’s Park, where even more trick-or-treating awaits, hosted by local vendors and organizations.

It’s a lively, family-friendly celebration you won’t want to miss!

Trick or Treat Bags are back!

Trick or Treat Bags are back! Thanks to Marcel Orthodontics, the first 1,500 little trick-or-treaters will receive a FREE official Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day bag (while supplies last). Pickup during event at Livermorium Plaza and Stockmen's Park at Marcel's booths.

Costume Contest

Costume Contest 11 AM -1 PM at Stockmen's Park - 29 S. Livermore Ave.

Show Off Your Creativity in the Costume Contest!
Our Costume Contest is free for all attendees, and we can’t wait to see your amazing family, group, and individual looks.

Costumes should be at least 70% handmade—we want to celebrate creativity and originality! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category:

Infant–4 years
Ages 5–8
Ages 9–12
Family/Group

Quest Science Center

Quest Science Center will present Halloween-Hijinks, an outdoor spooky science center! Quest Science Center will have hands-on, Halloween-themed science activities for Kidz Town participants to explore and engage in!

Stockmen’s Park 29 S. Livermore Ave.

Located at the Quest Plaza from 10am-12pm.
