Looking for some fall, family-fun in the fresh outdoors?

October 11th & 12th, Alden Lane Nursery will have not 1 but 2 events at our beautiful 5 acre nursery!

The first event is our annual Fall Fest. This FREE fantastic family event runs both days 10 - 4 pm. Some of our fun events include a scarecrow building contest, live music, kids crafts, food trucks, Joan from Dripz Honey will have her demonstration bee hive (10am - 2pm both days), Native Bird Connections will be onsite with their wonderful, educational program featuring live raptors (10am - 2pm Saturday), the Kindness Flower Project (Saturday), Crane Ridge 4-H will be bringing their animals (10am - 3 pm Sunday), Dave Hale's Apple Farm will be here with fresh apples, Out of the Box Quilters will have a display in our greenhouse, Our Water Our World will be on hand to answer your water questions (Sunday) and of course... pumpkins. Lots of pumpkins!

While all the fall fun is taking place outside, the Mt. Diablo Rose Society will host the 32nd Fall Rose Show inside the Seasons Building (Saturday 1pm-5pm, Sunday 9am -4pm). From Old Garden roses to Hybrid Teas, to Minifloras, to those judged solely on their fragrance, this is one rose show you don't want to miss! Think you have a winner in your garden? This is an open show. The public, as well as members of local rose societies, are encouraged to enter. Awards will be presented Sunday at 3:00 pm.
