Thursday is ALMOST FRIDAY at Almost Famous: come enjoy an all-evening happy hour and live acoustic music in the lounge from 4 to 8 pm. $10 off all bottles, and $2 off all glasses.

Tonight, Steve “SUGARBEAR” McDowell will be performing solo int he lounge.

Singer-songwriter Steve “SUGARBEAR” McDowell's music is a blend of many influences including jazz, reggae, soul and funk. Originally from North Florida, McDowell got an early introduction to the music business through his father, and performed countless shows for thousands over the course of 20 years, including as the lead vocalist for The Cosmic Pimps, and reggae and island shows as First Coast Steel. Steve now resides in California. A mixed style music group called SUGARBEAR continues to be Steve's primary gig work, now one of the East Bay's favorite live bands, and on occasion he performs as a solo musician. There is a two drink minimum for each guest.

Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. Wraps, hummus plates and cheese plates available for purchase. No outside beverages.
