3rd Annual Chili Shooters Stampede/Western Heritage Celebration

The 2012, Livermore Chili Shooters Stampede/Western Heritage Celebration will be held on June 2nd in the Nationally Acclaimed Downtown Livermore, CA.  2009 Winner of the Great American Main Street Award from the National Trust Main Street Center.

Dates and Times:	June 2nd – 12:00 to 4:00 PM
Attendance:	5000
Area size:	Downtown Core; First Street Maple to O Street Livermore Avenue; Railroad to Second Street J Street and K Street between First and Second Street

Chili Tasting $15.00 Official Taster Shot Glass and Tasting Passport

Chili and Sierra Nevada Craft Beer Tasting – $25.00 Official Taster Shot Glass, Taster Beer Glass and Tasting Passport

Chili Tasting:  Restaurants will be giving sample tastes of their creations.  These are not traditional chili recipes.  Our Globally Inspired and locally enhanced restaurants use their own ethnic and regional spices and ingredients to provide a unique “foodie” experience for the participants. As we love to say, ”This ain’t your Grandma’s Chili!”

Craft Brew Tasting;  Major Sponsoring Brewery – Sierra Nevada Brewing Company will have a different beer creation offered as a taste at our participating retail/shopping locations.  We will also be showcasing Livermore’s newest Craft Brewers, Altamont Brew Works!

Entertainment- Western Themed music and activities will be spread throughout the downtown activity core.

Livermore Downtown Inc. - The Chili Shooters Stampede and Western Heritage Celebration is produced by Livermore Downtown Inc., a 501 ( c ) 3 Non-profit, dedicated to the economic vitality of downtown Livermore.  Livermore Downtown Inc. is Certified by the National Trust Mainstreet Center, a project of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. This is one of our many promotional programs of the year. This event is designed to bring new and loyal consumers into our commercial district for the day.  Through attendance of the event, consumers discover new locations to return to again and again.  By supporting our efforts, over 300 businesses, locally owned entrepreneurs in the downtown core, are assisted to sustain and grow in our commercial  district.
