We are an established Day Spa in Downtown Livermore with 3 treatments rooms used for massage, skin care and waxing. We are looking to add a massage therapist or dual licensed professional to come aboard to work with Affinity clients in the realm of Swedish, Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Prenatal, and any other specialized work you bring.
We pride ourselves in being a positive work environment where we build relationships and offer our clients a respite from the world outside, leaving them feeling better than when they came in.
We ask that you have your state license for massage (and esthetician if dual) and are seeking someone with
at least 1 year hands on experience (will consider less experience for the right minded person).

Kitchen Helper Job Description:
We are looking to hire a hard-working Kitchen Helper to clean, stock, and maintain the kitchen as well as help with the preparation of recipe ingredients. The Kitchen Helper’s responsibilities include retrieving ingredients from the refrigerator, freezer, and stockroom, measuring ingredients as per the Cook's instructions. You should also be able to ensure that all work areas are properly sanitized.
To be successful as a Kitchen Helper, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Ultimately, an outstanding Kitchen Helper should be able to follow all food health and safety regulations and display exceptional organizational skills to ensure the timely completion of kitchen duties.
Kitchen Helper Responsibilities:
-Preparing recipe ingredients for the Cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients.
-Assist in packaging food products for retail shop.
-Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks.
-Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.
-Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places.
-Removing garbage, recycling & organic waste; replacing garbage bags and washing garbage cans.
-Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.
-Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
Kitchen Helper Requirements:
-High School or GED preferred
-No experience required: willing to train
-A food handler's certificate.
-The ability to be stationary for extended periods of time.
-The ability to lift 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
-Occasional ascending or descending step ladders and stairs.
-The ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances.
-Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
-Strong communication skills.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Schedule Needs:
-Part-Time status is defined as 20 hours or less: hours are not guaranteed per week.
-Seeking to fill days Wednesday-Sunday; morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.
-Willing to be flexible with high school and college schedules.
-Hours are scheduled according to needs of the kitchen and the employee's availability.
Salary Range:Starting wage $16.00 an hour, hourly wage based on experience
