12:30pm – 2:00pm – René Escovedo’s Latin Jazz Ensemble

René Escovedo is a percussionist, music instructor, and band leader based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born to the famed Escovedo Latin music family (Pete Escovedo, Peter Michael Escovedo, to name a few), he began his music education in grade school. At the age of nine, he got his first jazz drum kit and began his life-long artistic journey as a percussionist. Self-taught, initially he played whatever music was popular throughout the years, but honed in his skills by being around his uncles. That gave him the opportunity to attend many performances at renowned venues from an early age; places like The Greek Theater in Berkeley, The Fillmore Theater in San Francisco, Yoshi's in Oakland, The Stone in San Francisco. He would eventually go on to perform at all those venues, and many others. René is also an international touring percussionist with Con Funk Shun, the legendary R&B and funk band that throughout the years has had four consecutive Gold and one Platinum album, 20 hit singles including 8 Top Ten R&B Hits, among other artistic achievements. Crawdad Republic was born among the vineyards in the Bay Area’s Livermore wine country. Their honest style is inspired by folk and bluegrass instrumentation and is vocally driven, often boasting four and five part harmonies. The band’s three albums have received accolades for their simple form and catchy tunes. In Craw we Dad.

10:30am – 12:00pm – The Groovy Judy Band

Whether she is rocking the stage at some of San Francisco’s longest-running and most popular events or entertaining crowds at the legendary Great American Music Hall, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Groovy Judy has become one of the Bay Area’s most recognizable musicians. Inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles, Groovy Judy’s classic riffs and warm personality have endeared her to fans everywhere. She's a Livermore native, proud graduate of Granada High School and loves to rock her hometown! She's also a golfer and learned how to play here in Livermore at Las Positas Golf Course. Judy is also a cancer survivor. In 2017, she was diagnosed with stage 3 salivary gland cancer, a rare form of the disease seen in one case per 100,000 cases in the U.S. each year. She underwent surgery to have the tumor removed and made an immediate return to the stage, refusing to cancel her shows despite temporary paralysis on the left side of her face. She also teaches music to up and coming rockers as well as donates proceeds from her shows to several charities. For more information on Groovy Judy, visit her official website at groovyjudy.com

Born out of the hills and hollers of the Livermore Wine Country, the Dustbowl Travelers’ unique sound blends country, folk, rock, and jam. Formed in 2019, the band has some talented pickers and singers and creates a sound that is uniquely their own. At the heart of the band is Bobby Bourque whose rich, expressive voice and rock-solid rhythms set the tone for the group. Set behind Bobby is a superb group of musicians providing a backdrop of lush instrumentation and soaring harmonies. Multi-instrumentalist Tomas Enquidanos’ (dobro/mandolin) soulful playing weaves in and out of the melodies with ease. Frankie Bones (upright bass) provides a solid foundation for the music and expressive vocal harmonies. Jeremy Malson (lead/rhythm guitar) offers groovy fills and thrills to keep audiences moving. Whether they’re playing in a packed house or a small, intimate crowd, the Dustbowl Travelers are known for their acoustic driven live performances. With a commitment to preserving the rich musical heritage of Americana-styled music while also pushing the boundaries of the genres, the Dustbowl Travelers are poised to continue making music for years to come. 3:30pm – 5:00pm - Ruff Stock

Ruff Stock is a Rodeo term referring to animals that are “un-ridable” or mean enough and tough enough to be used in a rodeo. Mike Giannecchini, one of our two singers, used to be on a local rodeo circuit around 20 years ago. After meeting Mike in May of 2024 and making a few phone calls this band started coming into view with the goal of being a really good Country Western Cover Band. We have some great folks and real talent in the band but two of them are Local Music Giants. If you ask around town about Patrick Martinez and Gabe Duffin, you’ll find that everyone in the Livermore music scene knows and respects them. They really are local legends and we are lucky to have them both playing with Ruff Stock. We are all local to Livermore and we currently practice in Mike Giannecchini’s custom cabinet shop here in Livermore. If you know of anyone who would like new custom cabinets, Mike can help you out with that at Caliber Cabinets. Mike Giannecchini - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Patrick Martines - Lead Vocals/Pedal Steel Guitar, Gabe Duffin - Lead & Rhythm Guitar/Back up Vocals, Bill Sheridan - Lead & Rhythm Guitar/Back up Vocals, Michael Lewis - Bass Guitar/Back up Vocals, Russ Beck – Drums.
